Funeral services for Reinhard Beisel, 79, of 704 N. Jackson, who died Tuesday at a Mason City hospital, will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Lavern Hanson will officiate and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call until time of services at Hogan Bremer Colonial Chapel.

The family suggests memorials be sent to the Reinhard Beisel Memorial Fund.

Mr. Beisel, who came to the Untied Stated from Russia, was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America. He was a carpenter and contractor and a retired employee of the American Crystal Sugar Company.

He is survived by his wife Neva (Higley), a daughter, Mrs. Orrin (Betty) Bradtrud, Kensett, two sons, Everett and Harold both of Mason City, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, four sisters, Mrs. Walter (Lydia) Muhlstein, Mrs. Barney (Leah) Clark, Mrs. Louis (Martha) Hanson and Mrs. Elif (Susie) Erickson all of Mason City and three brothers, George and Danny, both of Mason City and Alex, Engadine, Mich.
