MASON CITY – Funeral services for Mrs. Walter (Lydia) Muhlstein, 73, of 1621 N. Pennsylvania, who died Tuesday, (June 15, 1982) at a Mason City hospital will be 10a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Mason City.

The Rev. Lavern Hanson will officiate and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City.

Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. Friday until 9 a.m. Saturday at Major Erickson Funeral Home.

The family requests memorials be made to the Lydia Muhlstein Memorial Fund.

Mrs. Muhlstein came to Mason City from Milwaukee, Wis., at an early age. She married Walter Muhlstein in 1927 in Mason City and had lived here since that time. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband, Walter, two daughters, Mrs. Edwin (Donna) Meyer, and Mrs. Charles (Dixie) Harris, both of Mason City' three sons, Walter Muhlstein Jr., and Donald Muhlstein, both of Mason City, and Richard Muhlstein, Plymouth; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Barney (Leah ) Clark and Mrs. Eilef J. (Susie) Erickson, both of Mason City, and two brothers, George Beisel, Mason City, and Alex Beisel, Engadine, Mich.
