George Stattleman, 61, 546 Sardou, died Wednesday in a Topeka hospital. He was born July, 2, 1907 in Russia.

He had been a resident of Topeka 49 years. Mr. Stattelman was employed by the John Morrell Co. for 19 years, and worked as a boiler maker for the Santa Fe Railway nine years. He had been in ill health and unemployed the past 12 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Church. Knights of Columbus No. 2608, and the Nocturnal Adoration
Society.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary T. Stattelman of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann Riley, Lawnilale, Calif., and Mrs. Cecilia Williams, Cranford, N.J.; three sons, Robert G. Stattelman, 3310 Klontarf, Richard T. Stattelman, 127 Van Buren, and Don J. Stattelman, Silts E. 34th; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Plumberg, 200 Van Huren, and Mrs. Mildred Maddocks, Sandy, Utah; two brothers, John J. Stattelman, 3000 N. Kansas, and Alex Stattelman, 621 Cambridge; 18 grandchildren and four step grandchildren.

Services are pending at Brennan Funeral Home.
