Mildred C. Maddocks, 79, our loving mother and grandmother, passed away Feb. 21, 2002 in a Murray, UT hospital.

She was born Jan. 19, 1923 in Topeka, Kansas to Jacob and Elizabeth Zenk Stattelman.

She married Donald Henry Maddocks in Topeka, KS on Jan. 14, 1956. He preceded her in death in 1966.

She worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield and for Allied in Murray. She was a devout member of the Catholic Church and active in the Altar Society at St. Therese.

Survivors include her children, Jim, Doug, Mark (Tracie), Elizabeth (Russ Watanabe); grandchildren, Michael, Kristen, Nicole, Maria-Elena, Paul, Alexi, Taushia, Daniel.

Preceded in death by a grandson, David.

Mildred's life will be celebrated with a Funeral Mass on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002, at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1700 E. 9800 S. Holy Rosary and Vigil service will be held Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the Goff
Mortuary, 8090 S. State, where friends may call Monday 6-8 p.m. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to your favorite charity.
