A private Graveside Service was held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, for Wilma Richard Thibodeaux, 79, who passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
Entombment followed in Fountain Memorial Cemetery in Lafayette.

Wilma Richard Thibodeaux was born on March 23, 1941, and was a lifelong resident of Acadiana. Wilma most enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her pet and best friend, “Gabby”. Family and home meant everything to Wilma and she leaves a legacy of love for those left to cherish her memory.
Wilma is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Archie Thibodeaux, of Lafayette; her two daughters, Tammy Thibodeaux Harrison and her fiancé Randy Lasseigne, of Youngsville, LA and Buffy Ann Thibodeaux, of Orlando, FL; five grandchildren, Laurhen LeBlanc, Grant LeBlanc and his wife Jill, Alana Harrison Hendryx and her husband Mark, Brett Harrison, Jenna Harrison and her pet Gabby.
She was preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Euphemie Savoy.
