Funeral services for John Joseph Burghart, 46, who died Friday in a local hospital, will be held Monday at 8 a.m. at St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in Mt Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Burghart was born at Pfeifer, and has bee a resident of Topeka for 35 years. He was a boilermaker at the Santa Fe Shops.
Surviving are his father, Casper Burghart of the home, 549 Sardou; and four sisters, Mrs. John Kaberline, Mrs. Jacob Boos and Mrs. Walter Gorrell, Topeka, and Mrs. John Kippes, Chicago.
The body will be at the home from 5 p.m. Saturday until the funeral hour. Parish rosary will be recited at 4 p.m., and Knights of Columbus No. 2608 rosary at 9 p.m.
