Mrs. Bernadine Schroeder, 79, of Kingsley. died unexpectedly Tuesday (July 6, 1982), at her residence.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Michael's Catholic church. Rev. Gerald Fisch will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Wednesday by the Catholic Daughters of America and at 8 p.m. by the parish in the Michaelson funeral home.

Mrs. Schroeder, the former Bernadine Rolfes, Was born March 8,1903, in Plymouth county to Clem and Mary Rolfes.

She married Herman Schroeder Feb. 20,1928, at Oyens. He died in 1952. She lived in the Kingsley farm community for many years, moving to Kingsley in 1955.

She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic church.

Survivors are two sons, Art of Remsen and Dick of Denver, Colo.; five daughters, Mrs. Walter (Rita) Idlewine of Tipton, Mrs. Greg (Shirley) Kass of Oyens, Mrs. Robert (Helen) Hagan of Kingsley, Mrs. Gary (JoAnn) Doering of Parkers Prairie, Minn, and Mrs. Pat (Marge) Bennett of Rialto, Calif.; one sister, Sister Aniceta of Dubuque; 39 grand-children and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: four brothers, two sisters and a daughter.
