Born in Minneota, Minnesota, May 29, 1903 to Alvina and William Kindler, Mrs. Schilder was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church.
She graduated from Yankton High School and attended college at Yankton in South Dakota.
Mrs. Schilder was active in the First Methodist Church of Moore Haven, community affairs and served as president of the Moore Haven Women's Club.
She and her husband owned and operated resorts at Forest Lake and Leech Lake, MN. for many years before retiring in Moore Haven in 1968.
Mrs. Schilder is survived by her husband Bill; daughter and son-in-law Phyllis and Vernon Williamson; two granddaughters, Diane Rahn and Joan Westervelt; and two great grandsons, Jeff and Ryan Westervelt.
Also surviving; three brothers, John Kindler of White, SD; William Kindler of Lynd, MN; and Fred Kindler of Hillman, MN; three sisters, Lillian Lokker of Slayton, MN, Hannah Jensen of Ruthton, MN, and Luella Peterson of Russell, Minn.; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held May 18 at the First United Methodist Church of Moore Haven, Fl. Burial was in FL.
