Haas died at 5:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Anthony Hospital where he had been a patient about four days. He was a retired farmer from the Antonino community, having resided in Hays since 1953.
Survivors include his wife Pauline of the home; four daughters, Mrs. George Fisher of Ellis, Mrs. Frank Reichert of Antonino, Mrs. Vic Schuckman of Hays and Mrs. Albert J. Pfeifer of Ellis; four sons, Alfred A. of Antonino, Celestine of Ellis, Al of Durango, Colo., and Francis Haas of Antonino; one sister, Mrs. George Pfannenstiel of Hays, 65 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Haas was preceded in death by two infant sons, Alex and Norbert, and another son, Robert Haas, who died in 1963.
