Victoria -- Pauline Haas, 87, died Sunday, Feb. 3 at St. John's Rest Home. She was born on July 28, 1892 at Munjor, the daughter of John and Catherine (Rupp) Dechant. She was a housewife.

Her husband, Jacob Haas, died in 1968.

Survivors include two sons, Al H. Haas, Durango, Colo., Francis J. Haas, Oak Grove, Mo.; four daughters, Mrs. George (Adelaide) Fisher, Ellis, Mrs. Frank (Martina) Reichert, Antonino, Mrs. Victor (Philomene) Schuckman, Mrs. Albert (Irene) Pfeifer, both of Hays; a brother, Frank Dechant, Denver; 66 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays; Our Lady of Help Cemetery in Antonino. Friends may call at Brock's North Hill Chapel, Hays, until 9 p.m. Monday. There will be a Christian Mothers and Altar Society rosary at 4 p.m. Monday at Brock's, and a parish wake service at 8:15 p.m. Monday at Brock's.
