Services were held at 10 o'clock last Saturday morning in St. Dominic's Catholic Church in Holton for Mr. Louis F. Stegeman, 61, of Holton Mr. Stegeman, 61, of Holton Mr. Stegeman, a brother of Bernard Stegeman of Onaga, passed away last Thursday in a Holton hospital after a long illness.
He was born at St. Benedict in Nemaha County and lived in the Coal Creek and Onaga communities before moving to Holton three years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Bernadine of the home four, daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Lechner, Goff, Mrs. James Jueneman, Hanover, Mrs. Max Turnbull Jr., Vliets, and Mrs. Harry Bolen, Portsmouth, Va.; a son, Louis, Holton; seven sisters; another brother; and seven grandchildren.
Burial was in the Catholic Cemetery at Holton.
