Susanna, age 90, died at Nemaha Valley Community Hospital in Seneca. She was the daughter of John and Anna (Schurman) Heinen. She married Anthony Huerter on June 4, 1940, at St. Bede's Church in Kelly.; he died from a farming accident on November 3, 1962. She is survived by her children, Daryl Huerter, Maurice Huerter, Betty Fisher, Lynn Huerter, and Linus Huerter, seven grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and nine step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her siblings, Henry Huerter, Jacob Huerter, Aloyious Huerter, Joseph Huerter, George Huerter, Edward Huerter, Leonard Huerter, Ray Huerter, Amelia Wilhelm, Elizabeth Wilhelm, Catherine Sextro, Agnes Wilhelm, and Marie Conley. Mass of Christian Burial was held at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Seneca. Burial was in St. Bede's Church Cemetery in Kelly.
