Harvey Perl Jordan, 97, of Huxley, died Saturday, April 19, at Madrid Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, at Adams Funeral Home, 502 Douglas Ave., in Ames. Pastor Andrea Severson, of Trinity United Methodist Church of Huxley, will officiate. Burial will be in Story Memorial Gardens in Ames.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Harvey Perl Jordan was born Jan. 12, 1911, on a farm east of Ames, to George Roy Perl and Isabel Georgina (Johnson) Jordan. He married Audrey Hope Severson April 7, 1935, in Ames. They farmed in the Ankeny, Cambridge and Ames areas before moving to Huxley in 1965.

Left to cherish his memory are two sons, Phillip Jordan, of Huxley, and Rollin (Phyllis) Jordan, of Ames; one daughter, Twila (Everett) Henderson, of Altoona; one brother, Lawrence Jordan, of Nevada; two sisters, Dorothy Anita Bell, of Des Moines, and Lois Mae Christensen, of Madrid; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
