Lois M. Christensen, 83, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at Israel Family Hospice in Ames.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at Sundberg-Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Madrid. Burial will follow in the Hillsdale Cemetery.
Lois was born October 5, 1925 in Story County, to George and Isabel (Johnson) Jordan. She had five brothers and one sister. Lois is survived by her husband Allyn, her high school sweetheart, whol she married August 15, 1943. She had four children: Delores (Harry) Mataya, Patti Christensen, Brian (Marianne) Christensen and infant son, Richard, who preceded her in death. She has ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
