Afton is the tenth child of Brigham Young Randall and Sarah Darling Ross. Her twin sister is Alta Randall, Maxwell, Parr.

Married John Waldemar Zackrison on 16 June 1915, Salt Lake City, UT. Married by C.H. Skidmore, Bishop of Miller Ward. Witnesses were Brigham Young Randall and Asel Zackrison. [Source: FHL US/CAN Film (429,089) Book 55, #21818]

"Devoted mother and grandmother, Afton Randall Zackrison, 86, of Salt Lake City, died March 20, 1982 of causes incident to age.

Born March 1, 1896, in Murray, Utah to Brigham Young and Sarah Ross Randall. Married John Waldemar Zackrison June 16, 1915 in Salt Lake City. He died October 1, 1971. Member LDS Church.

Survivors: son and three daughters .... ; 15 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; sisters, Emily Gerrard and Isabelle Maxwell, both Salt Lake City.

Family services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., in the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to services. Burial, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park."
