Funeral services for George Ross Randall, 53, prominent Salt Lake business man and general manager of the Salt Lake Electrical Supply Company, will be held tomorrow at 12 noon at the Elks Club, 139 East South Temple Street. Burial will be in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Randall who lived at 2298 Eighth East Street, died yesterday at 9 p.m. in a local hospital following a heart attack.
Recognized as one of the outstanding electrical engineers of Utah, Mr. Randall was one of the organizers of the Electrical League of Utah.
Born in Twin Creeks, Wyo., in April, 1887, a son of Brigham Young and Sarah D. Ross Randall, Utah pioneers, Mr. Randall came to Utah at an early age. He received his early education in the Salt Lake public schools and later attended the University of Utah.
After leaving the University, Mr. Randall became affiliated with the American Smelting and Refining Company at Murray.
In 1910, he became associated with the Salt Lake Electrical Supply Company and in 1919 was elected manager of the corporation. A year later he was advanced to the position of president and manager.
Mr. Randall was married to Miss Emma L. Lawrence in 1914.
Surviving are a brother, William B. Randall, Salt Lake City and eight sisters; Mrs. Ella M. Corless, Burley, Ida.; Mrs. Louise A. Thornton, Salt Lake; Mrs. Sarah M. Olsen, Murray; Mrs. Flora D. Taylor, Mrs. Emily A. Gerrard, Mrs. Afton Zackrison, Mrs. Alta Parr and Mrs. Isabelle Maxwell, all of Salt Lake City."
