John S. Scheidt
Dryville, Dec 5. John S Scheidt died last night at his home here age 66 years. A native of Maxatawny Twp., he was the son of the late Jacob and Mary Ann (Brintzeghoff) Scheidt and was employed by Kutztown Foundry and Machine Co. He was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church, this place, and Knights of Friendship, New Jerusalem.
His wife, Ellen (Dry) died several years ago. Surviving are a son John at home; three daughters, Mrs Earl Heist of New Jerusalem; Mrs Leon Boone of Lyons; and Mrs Harry Kline of Allentown; nine grandchildren; a sister, Mrs Sallie Angstadt of Topton; and six brothers, William,Harry,George,Charles, Howard, and Walter, all of this place.
Funeral Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from home. Further services in Christ Lutheran Church here with the Rev. William H Kline officiating. Interment in the adjoining cemetery with Funeral Directors J.J. Schafer and Son of Topton, in charge

Dryville, Dec 5. John S Scheidt died last night at his home here age 66 years.
