Dora was united in marriage to John (Johan) Alfred Tschannen, on December 7, 1898 and to this union were born six sons; Walter, Ernest, Arthur, Frederick, John, and Herbert Leroy, and two daughters; Rose and Dorothy.
Dora was a sister to; Elizabeth (Ohrt) Schroedel, and Johann Ohrt.
Burial at Riverside Cemetery, in Montgomery, Illinois next to her beloved husband John, who passed away in 1952.
