Mary E. Felber died Jan. 1 at the Mickkelson Nursing Home in Yankton, S. D., at age 85. Burial mass was at St. John the Baptist Church in Fordyce.
Miss Felber was born to the Daniel Felbers near Hartington on May 8, 1875. She was a nurse and a charter member of the Catholic Daughters Hartington council.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Norbert (Martha) Reinders, a foster brother, Thomas Felber of Portales, New Mexico, and a foster sister, Mrs. LeRoy (Elizabeth) Horning of Salinas, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Frank and John, and sister, Bertha.
Pallbearers were Leo and Raymond Felber, William Becker, Frank Dietsch, Charles Schulte, and Eddie Siebert.
