Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in St. Nicholas, MN for Anastasia Wolters, age 89, who died Friday at Bethesda Hospital in St. Paul. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, and from 9 - 10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring. Parish prayers will be at 7:30 p.m. followed by a rosary with the Christian Women Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

Anastasia was born in St. Nicholas to Michael and Margaret (Dockendorf) Wolters. She attended the St. Cloud College of Hair Design. She worked at salons in St. Paul and Litchfield before opening the Watkins Beauty Shop. Anastasia was a switchboard operator at St. Benedict College for 2 years. She loved flowers, sewing and painting statues. She was a member of St. Nicholas Parish and Christian Women.

Survivors include her brothers, Ray, Ben and Roman and her twin sister, Hildegard; many nieces and a nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Leo and Andrew.

Memorial are preferred to Poor Clare's Monastery or Alzheimer Foundation.
