Burns which he received in a weed fire last February, caused the death this morning of John D. Lesser, 1131 E. Fourth st. He had been in a coma over a week, and despite many blood transfusions, failed to rally. His right leg had been amputated earlier when the deep burns did not heal.

The deceased had lived in the Loveland community the past 40 years and was one of the founders of St. Paul's Lutheran church. He came here from McCook, Neb., where he had located when first coming from Russia.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Anna Margaret Lesser; and the following children; John, Billings, Mont.; Fred, Fort Morgan; Adolph, Greeley; Jacob and David, Cheyenne, Wyo.; George and Mrs. Henry Frank, Loveland. Also 33 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.
