Burial will be in the Alliance Cemetery. Born to E. George and Eva Elizabeth (Reich) Schnell. On Sept. 23, 1945, he married Betty NUSS in Scottsbluff. Survivors include his wife, Betty; children, Larry P. and his wife Pam Schnell of Alliance; Judy and husband Jerry Sweesey of Imperial; Linda and husband Jim Shannon; Peggy Schnell, Paul and wife Brenda Schnell; and Steve Schnell, all of Alliance; Roy and wife Vonda Schnell of Valentine; and Nancy and husband Mike Sorensen of Creston; sisters, Mary Heins of Brush, Colo. and Eva Merrigan of Scottsbluff; grandchildren, Michael Schnell, Becky Maser, Cathy Fingar, Pete Shannon, Matt Shannon, Amy Sweesey, Vernon Sweesey, Bethany Sorenson, Isaac Sorenson and Jordan Schnell; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth L. Schnell; parents, and brothers, Conrad, Dave, Henry, George, Alex and Willie.
