SCOTTSBLUFF - Eva Elizabeth Schnell Merrigan, 78, died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005, in her home surrounded by her family. Eva was born Nov. 4, 1926, in Minatare to George E. and Eva Elizabeth Reich Schnell. She attended North Highland School in Minatare, and continued her education through LaSalle University in Chicago, Illinois. Eva married Hubert Joseph Merrigan April 5, 1947, in the Cathedral of Cheyenne in Cheyenne, Wyoming. A celebration of Eva's life will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24, at St. Agnes Catholic Church with the Rev. Don Buhrman officiating. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, at the Jolliffe Funeral Home.
A Rosary Service will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society, St. Agnes Catholic Church or the charity of your choice.
