She was born Feb. 3, 1872, at Charlesburg, the daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine Thielmann Puetz. She attended the parochial school at Charlesburg and was married to Leonard Meyers May 30, 1893, at St. Charles Catholic Church, Charlesburg.
After their marriage they resided on the Meyer homestead two miles southeast of Charlesburg. They resided there for 40 years before they retired and moved to the village.
Survivors are three daughters, Sr. M. Caritina, Order of St. Frances, Pius XI High school of Milwaukee, Mrs. Jacob Krutzik, and Mrs. Anton Bartel, both of Charlesburg; four sons, Clemens, of Kiel, Oscar, and Zeno of Charlesburg, and Leo, of Chilton; two sisters, Mrs. John Weier, Fond Du Lac; and Sr. M. Liobins, Order of St. Francis, Campbellsport; 17 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
Her husband preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 1941. Theo daughters, Sr. M. Tilla, and Sr. M. Arcilaus, both of the Order of St. Francis, two sons, three sisters, and four brothers also preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Catholic Knights of Charlesburg, branch 118, and the Christian Mothers society of the church.
Funeral services were held from the Pfeffer Funeral home, Chilton, and at the church. A solemn requiem high Mass was celebrated by her grandson, the Rev. Eugene Meyer, Milwaukee.
