RICHARD (DICK) PAYNE, 68 years old retired Daviess County farmer, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Uldine Fogle at 7:30 o'clock this morning. Mr. Payne was born and reared in Daviess County and lived his entire life in the West Louisville and Rome communities. Surviving are his two daughters, Mrs. Fogle of Rome and Mrs. Mable Lyvers of St. Louis; a brother, William Payne of Owensboro; and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Drury of Stanley, and Mrs. Ella Hill of Akron, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at St. Raphael's Catholic Church at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning with the Rev. Father John Glenn in charge. Burial will be in the Catholic cemetery.
