William was born in Westphalia, Missouri to Stephan Heinrich Winkelmann and Anna Angela Heckemeyer.

William was married to Anna Margaretha Kemna on Oct. 14, 1909 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Westphalia, Missouri, and they had five children.

Winkelmann Services Set

Funeral services for William F. Winkelman, 92, St. Louis, formerly of Westphalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Sorrows Church on Kingshighway in St. Louis.

Mr. Winkelmann was born July 1, 1881, at Westphalia, the son of Stephen and Angela Heckemeyer Winkelmann. His wife, Anna, survives in St. Louis.

Mr. Winkelmann was an organizer of the Cole County Bank in 1912 and was its cashier until 1925. In 1926, he moved to Belleville, Ill. For many years he was associated with B.V. Hansen and Sons of Chicago.

Other survivors include: two sons, Joseph S. Winkelmann, Tanner Bridge Road, and James W. Winkelmann, St. Louis; and three daughters, Sister Anne, SSND, Sister Margaret Rose, Maryknoll, and Sister Catherine Clare, OSF.

Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in South St. Louis under the direction of Kreigshouser Mortuary.
