Margaret Leichner, born in 1926 and was called home to our Lord on July 2, 2007. She was 81 years old. She was born to Albert and Amelia (Molly) Lechman in Chicago, Illinois and had 10 brothers and sisters.

Margie worked at the Hedman Company in Chicago making bomb site casings for the B-17 bombers in WWII. She was involved in the Leichner family business, first in Colorado and later in Vancouver. She was a devoted loving wife, mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to her family and to the love of our Lord.

You could always count on the holidays filled with laughter and memories that will last a lifetime. Margie was a person of the strongest character. She loved her family and had a special twinkle in her eyes for her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer, in 1988.

She is survived by her sisters, Betty Selgert, of San Marcos, California and Marie Bunch (Wilburn) of Vancouver; two sons, Mark (Kelly) and Craig (wife and daughter); two daughters, Cheryl Rosales (Lee) and Tari Leichner; her grandchildren, Jennifer Rosales, Ryan Rosales, Josh Gandy (April), Jessica Gandy, and Haley Leichner; one great-grandchild, Shyanne Gandy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
