Kathryn A. Johnson, 81, died Friday, January 26, 1996 at Lancaster Manor, Lincoln, Neb. She was born January 9, 1915 on a farm east of Delphos, the daughter of Bernard J. and Louise J. Eiler.

Kathryn was a former resident of Courtland, Neb. moving there in 1940. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church. She enjoyed making quilts.

Survivors include two sons, Lyle and his wife Frances, Beatrice, Neb. and Dale and his wife Karen of Lincoln, Neb.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Gilbert Eiler, Minneapolis, Leonard H., Stafford, AZ and Leo B., Yarnell, AZ. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles; son, Orlan and two sisters, Marie L. and Regina H.

The funeral was Tuesday, Jan. 30 at St. James Catholic Church, Courtland, with Father John Perkinton officiating. A rosary was said Monday at Harmah Wright Mortuary Chapel, Beatrice. Burial was in St. James Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the church.
