Mrs. Nettie Cox of Potts Camp., Miss., wife of W. B. Cox, Potts Camp farmer, died at 10 last night at Memphis Baptist Hospital where she was admitted Aug. 16. She was 63.
Mrs. Cox was born in Marshall County and lived in that area all her life. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. She leaves her husband; her daughter, Mrs. Jim Doan 1071 Prescott, Memphis; her son Hubert Cox, Potts Camp; her stepmother, Mrs. Mate R. Bennett, Memphis; eight brothers, Sidney Bennett, Gainesville, Texas, Claud Bennett, Barlett, Tenn., John Bennett, Faulkner, Miss., Frank Bennett, Potts Camp, Tomlee, Russell and Cline Bennett, Memphis, and Cox Bennett, Ashland, Miss., and three sisters, Mrs. George Turpin, Mrs. Joe Mahan and Mrs. Albert Wilbanks, all of Memphis; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Services at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at Potts Camp, Rev. Wiley Salmon officiating. Burial in the Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Reynolds Funeral Home, Holly Springs, in charge.
