Anna Mary Theresa Wooley was born at Teutopolis, Teutopolis, Effingham, Illinois, USA, January 8, 1875, the daughter of Peter Joseph Hutmacher and Mary Theresa Riesenbeck.
She departed this life June 2, 1949, at her home in Dieterich, Illinois. Funeral services were held in the Immaculate Conception Church at Dieterich, Saturday morning, June 4, 1949, with burial in the parish Cemetery by the side of her husband, Thomas Wooley who preceded her in death in 1944.
She was united in marriage to Thomas Wooley, April 24, 1894, at the St Aloysius of Bishop Creek. To this union were born Alphonse Wooley of Champaign, Mrs Clem (Beatrice) Ohlendorf of Harvey, Illinois, USA, Edward Wooley of Blue Island, Cook, Illinois, USA, and Bernard Wooley of Freeport, Texas and two daughters who preceded her in death, Mrs Orley (Florence) Bogan and Alma. She also leaves to mourn her passing one sister, Mrs Kathryn Steppe of Dieterich; four half brothers: Louis Hutmacher of Albuquerque, Bernalillo, New Mexico, USA; Henry, Bernard and Frederick Hutmacher of Forth Worth Texas; five half sisters, Mary Hutmacher of Dieterich, Mrs William (Gertrude) Ullen and Mrs E J (Laura) Spencer of California, USA, Mrs Bryan (Blanche) Lumpkin of Maplewood Louisiana and Mrs Bernice Weathers of Fort Worth Texas. She also leaves seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Mrs Wooley was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of the Immaculate Conception Church of Dieterich. She was also a charter member of the Dieterich Women's Club.

She remained with the family until her marriage to Thomas Logan Wooley 24 April 1894 at Bishop Creek Catholic Church located west of Dieterich, Illinois.
