CHRISTINE LANGEL FUNERAL MONDAY
Lifelong Resident of Plymouth County Died Friday

Mrs. Frank (Christine) Langel passed away at her farm home on Friday, April 1, after a sickness of 6 months.

Christine Rolfes, was born March 17, 1892, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rolfes. She has since resided in Plymouth county. On Oct. 7, 1914 she was united in marriage with Frank Langel at St. Joseph's church, Le Mars. To this union 10 children were born, all of whom survive. Mrs. Langel was a member of the Christian Mothers Society.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday (Today), April 4, at St. Joseph's Catholic church at 9:30 a.m. with Msgr. J. D. Fisch, officiating.

Survivors include, her husband Frank, daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Helen) Ney, Adella of Topeka, Kan., Mrs. Joseph (Mildred) Junkers of Remsen, Mrs. (Mary Ellen) Wiederholdt of Le Mars, sons, Edward, Victor, Ray, Bill, Lawrence and Clifford of Le Mars. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Joe Heims of Worthington, Minn., Mrs. Burney Peppersack of Seneca, Kansas, Mrs. Lee Langel of Le Mars, John and Joseph Rolfes and Frank Rolfes of Merrill.
Remains were at Wiltgen's Funeral home until funeral time.

Mrs. Frank Langel Died Friday At Her Home East of LeMars

Mrs. Frank Langel, who lived on a farm east of LeMars, died at her home Friday after a six month illness.

Christine Rolfes was born March 17, 1892, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rofles, and lived in this county all her life. She was married to Frank Langel October 17, 1914 at St. Joseph's Catholic church in LeMars.

Mrs. Langel is survived by her husband and 10 children: Mrs. Lawrence Ney (Helen), Granville; Adella, Topeka, Kansas; Edward, LeMars; Mrs. Joseph Junkers (Mildred), Remsen; Mary Ellen Weiderholdt, Victor, Ray, Will, Lawrence, Clifford of LeMars. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Joe Heins, Worthington, Minn.; Mrs. Barney Peppersack, Seneca, Kansas; Mrs. Leo Langel, LeMars; John and Joseph Rolfes, LeMars, and Frank Rolfes of Merrill.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at St. Joseph's Catholic church with Msgr. J. D. Fisch in charge and burial was in St. Joseph cemetery.

Arrangements were in charge of the Wiltgen Funeral Home.
