Gerhart Brunner, 85, of Windsor died Saturday, March 17, at North Colorado Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 29, 1915, in Windsor to John and Elizabeth (Fritzler) Brunner.

On May 2, 1937, he married Mary Feit in Windsor.

Mr. Brunner graduated from Windsor High School in 1934. He farmed north of Windsor at the family farm until 1946 when he joined his father's Minneapolis Moline Implement Dealership in Windsor. He was also a mechanical contractor in Windsor until 1995. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Las Vegas. He was a member of the Windsor Senior Club, the Bethel Lutheran Church of Windsor, and was a past member of the Lions Club International of Windsor, the Church Council of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Windsor and the Windsor Town Board. He was baptized at St. John's and had been a member of the choir.

Survivors are a daughter; a son; a sister, Erna Brunner of Windsor; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. His parents, a sister, Hattie Dudley; and a brother, Henry Brunner, are deceased.

Memorial services will be at 10:30am Tuesday at Bethel Lutheran Church of Windsor. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Windsor.
