Traveling Man Succumbs to Attack of Typhoid Fever
E. D. Beese, for two years a resident of valley City, and one of the best known traveling men of this section of the state, passed away at his home in Valley City on Nov. 9, 224 Eighth Avenue South, at 8 o'clock. Mr. Beese was taken with typhoid fever about two weeks ago and has been unable to be about since that time.
The deceased leaves a wife (Emma) and one little girl (Lydia), 9 years old.
A son, 6 years of age (Clark, 10), was drowned a year ago in the Cheyenne River. The two deaths in the family, within such a short time, is having a particularly hard effect upon Mrs. Beese.
Mr. Beese was a member of the Methodist Church of Valley City and the funeral services were held there.
