Pauline Kindsfater

Pauline Kindsfater, 75, of Greeley, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, at her home.

She was born Jan. 1, 1915, to George and Eva Elizabeth (Foos) Blehm in Severance.

Mrs. Kindsfater attended schools in the Windsor and Fort Collins area. The family lived in Lyman, Neb., for three years. They returned to Colorado after her father’s death in 1929. On Jan. 29, 1934, she married Victor Kindsfater in Windsor. They farmed in Larimer and Weld counties until 1961 when they moved to Greeley. She cooked in various restaurants in Greeley and at Monfort of Colorado.

She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Greeley Senior Citizens and Germans from Russia Society.

Survivors are her husband, Victor of Greeley; three daughters, Mrs. Reuben (Shirley) Betz of Greeley, Mrs. Robert (Marguerite) Cunningham of La Salle, and Mrs. Robert (Edna) Pukash of Boise, Idaho; two sons, Irvin and Clarence, both of Greeley; three sisters, Mrs. Fred (Helen) Gorr Jr. of Torrington, Wyo., Alma Monroe of Fort Collins, and Emma Guettler of Brady, Neb.; a brother, Edwin Blehm of Mitchell, Neb.; 14 grandchildren; three step grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and nine step great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Lydia Foos and Amelia Roth, and three brothers, Herbert Blehm, Hubert Blehm and Harold Blehm, are deceased.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Church of the Nazarene. Interment will be in Linn Grove Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to Hospice Inc. of Weld County or to the First Church of the Nazarene in care of Adamson Mortuary.
