FRIEDA SITZMAN

Frieda Sitzman, 99, of Fort Collins died Wednesday, Aug 13, in Fort Collins.

She was born May 10, 1904, in Berthoud to John M. and Anna Borgens. Raised in the Berthoud area, she lived in Lucerne before moving to Greeley in 1969. She had lived in Fort Collins since March 1995.

On Nov. 15, 1926, she married Dan Sitzman in Boulder. He died Nov. 24, 1994.

Mrs. Sitzman was a homemaker and helped her husband with the family farm in Lucerne. She was a member of St. Paul's Congregational Church. She loved her family and her home.

Survivors are two daughters, JoAnn Sisson and husband Ron and Donna Jean Drescher and husband John, all of Fort Collins; a sister Helen Stroh of Longmont; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A daughter, Larleen Jean Sitzman, and her parents and several brothers and sisters are deceased.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Allnutt Funeral Service Macy Chapel, Greeley. Private interment will be in Linn Grove Cemetery, Greeley.

Memorial gifts may be made to St. Paul's Congregational Church in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 702 13th St., Greeley, CO 80631.
