Delbert Lee Weinmaster, 45, of 1514 Ave. M died August 11, 1994, at an Omaha hospital. A funeral will be on Monday at 2 p. m. at Emmanuel Congregational Church in Scottsbluff with the Revs. Larry Scovil and Doug Jones officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Morrill. Friends may call at the Joliffe Funeral Home in Scottsbluff today from 1 to 9 p. m. and Monday from 8 a. m. to noon. Memorials were established to Emmanuel Congregational Church and to the Zion Evangelical Church Youth Program.
He was born to Jake and Freida (Kanzler) Weinmaster March 20, 1949, at Morrill, where he grew up and attended school. He graduated from Morrill High School in 1967. He served overseas with the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He married Cynthia Mae Schlager August 23, 1970 in Scottsbluff. He worked for Swift Packing Company in Scottsbluff until their closing in 1977.. He then participated in the construction of Grayrocks Dam at Guernsey, Wyo. He was working for Economy Glass of Scottsbluff at the time of his death. He was a member of Emmanuel Congregational Church and Eagles Lodge No. 2998 of Gering.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia, of Scottsbluff; son Chad, at home; brother and sisters-in-law Carl and Helen and Jake and Janet, all of Morrill, and Rex and Ruth of Minnesota; sisters-in-law Esther Weinmaster of Gering and Irene Weinmaster of Oregon; sisters and brothers-in-law Martha and Jake Kuhlman of Michigan, Helen and David Kuhlman of Kimball, Mildred and John Schledewitz of Maxwell, Barbara and Don Steffensen of Iowa, Elsie and Orval Mason of Oregon, Sheron and Ron Dinnel of Scottsbluff and Delores Sell of Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Elmer and Henry and sister Dorothy.
