Henry F. Federer, 87, formerly of 1624 N. 15th St., died Monday at Sunny Ridge after a brief illness. Born Sept. 27, 1893, in Sheboygan, he was the son of John and Magdalene Mueller Federer. On April 18, 1917, he married Catherine J. Ardts at St. George Church in Six Corners. The couple farmed in the Town of Sheboygan Falls until 1941 when they moved to Sheboygan, where Mr. Federer was employed at Lakeside Packing Co., retiring in 1963. Mrs. Federer died April 10, 1980. He was a member of St. Dominic Parish and the Holy Name Society, Surviving are two sons, Clemens of Rhinelander and Jerome of Canoga Park, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. James (Lorraine) Lau of rural Newton; a sister, Mrs. Martha Schwanekamp of Sheboygan; 14 grandchildren and' 19 great-grandchildren. A son, six brothers and six sisters preceded him in death. A funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Dominic Church by Rev. John J. Theisen, pastor. Preceding the Mass will be family rites at 9:30 a.m. at Kroos-Mason Funeral Home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where a parish and Holy Name Society bible vigil will be held at 7:30 p.m.
