Mrs. Elizabeth May Slonaker, 66, wife of William D Slonaker, and former resident of Adams county, died at the York hospital at 11:00, Sunday morning of complications following a years illness.
Mrs. Slonaker was the daughter of late Peter and Martha Lady Moritz and was born in Franklin county. Her early life was spent in Adams county and later she lived near Emigsville for 23 years. She and her husband had been residing with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. And Mrs. Allen Jacoby, Roundtown the past year. She was a member of Quickels Reformed congregation.
Surviving besides her husband are ten children, Wesley M and William Roy, Seattle, Washington; J
acob R., Portland, Oregon; Daniel D., Northumberland; Allen M., Spry; Howard A., York;

Adam I., York; 17 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; six brothers, Harvey Moritz York; Jacob, Orrtanna; Calvin, Knoxlyn; Walter, Gettysburg RD; Charles, Ashland Ohio; and Calvin, Shiloh, Ohio; and two sisters, Mrs. William Rebert and Mrs. Rebecca Cluck, Gettysburg.
Funeral services Wednesday at the Jacob home at 12:30. Interment in the Fairfield cemetery at 2:45, the Rev. Paul I Kuntz, pastor of Quickel's Reformed congregation, officiating.
