Mrs. Cora Otto Stoops, 47, the wife of William J Stoops, of Cumberland township, died at the Warner hospital Wednesday night at 11:40 following an operation on Tuesday. Mrs. Stoops had been a patient at the hospital since May 16.
She was the youngest daughter of Peter of Martha Lady Moritz, of Hamiltonban township, near Orrtanna,. She had always lived in Adams county.
She is survived by her husband, and one daughter, Mrs. Alfred L Myrick, Gettysburg, and one grandchild, Earl R Myrick,. Two stepdaughters, Mrs. Mary Thorn, York, and Mrs. Blnache Hartman, Bethlehem, and one ste-son, Shover J Stoops,m Waynesboro all survive as well as eight step-grandchildren,
Three sisters, Mrs. Harvey Cluck, Cumberland township; Mrs. Wilham Rebert, Gettysburg, and Mrs. William Slonaker, York, also survive, as well as six brothers, Charles Moritz, Ashland; Walter Moritz, Franklin township; Harvey Moritz, York; Jacob Moritz, Hamiltonban township; Clayton Moritz, Shiloh, Ohio, and Calvin Moritz, Highland township.
