NOTE: As a way to show loyalty to America during WW II, many Germans modified their last name to appear more Anglo. The name Loxterkamp was changed in 1942 to Loxtercamp (changing the "K" to a "C"). George and Mary's children spell the last name Loxtercamp, except for Herman, Tony & Sr. Georgette.
