Eva Lee (Lee) Koester, age 77, passed away on April 13, 2011 at Holy Rosary Health Care Center.

She was born in Kansas on February 13, 1934 to Orval and Gladys Baker. She married Harry Koester and together they raised two children. Mom had many jobs in life including insurance sales, gas company, cook and mail driver but her most important job was taking care of her two kids and then taking over care of her grandchildren after their mother died in 2001. She loved to travel and find any bargain. She loved her solar lights and flowers.

In addition to her husband Harry she was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son Kent and daughter Kathi; two special grandkids who were the love of her life Lexie LaRee and Kyle and a sister Ella Marie Bahr.

Graveside services will be held at the Densmore County Cemetery in Densmore, Kansas at a later date. Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements and condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: www.stevensonandsons.com In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Zoo Montana or the charity of your choice.

Though she died at her home in Montana, she was buried in her home state of Kansas.

Eva Lee Koester, 77, passed away April 13, 2011 in Miles City, MT. Lee was born Feb. 13, 1934 in Phillipsburg, KS; the daughter of Louis Orval Baker and Gladys Irene Walker Baker. Lee graduated from Logan High School in 1952. She married Harry Koester of Densmore, KS.

Lee is survived by her son Kent of Miles City, MT, her daughter Kathi of Custer, SD; grandchildren Lexie and Lyle; her sister Ella Bahr of Topeka, KS as well as 3 nieces and 6 nephews.

Interment will be at a later date in Mt Calvary Cemetery, Densmore, KS
