William Henry Uphoff, father of Herman Uphoff, passed away at the home of his son, H. Uphoff here Friday morning, after an illness of heart failure for some time. He took to his bed about a month ago, when he came here from Town Herman, where he had disposed of his farm, which he had owned for many years, to his son, Emil. His intentions were to make Glenbeulah his home. Mr. Uphoff was 74 years of age.
He leaves the following children; Arthur of Plymouth, Herman of Glenbeulah, Mrs. Wm. Schram, Howards Grove; Emil, town of Herman; Theodore, Sheboygan; Meta Milwaukee; Mrs. E. Raeder, Hulls Crossing; Mrs. Fred. Kimme, Howards Grove; Mrs. A. Brehm, Milwaukee. There are eighteen
grandchildren.
The remains were taken to the town Herman for burial. Rev. Wm. Huememann had charge of the funeral
