Funeral services for Arthur W. Uphoff, 72, of Plymouth, who died at St. Nicholas Hospital will be held at Wittkopp Funeral Home. The Rev. Herman G. Schmid, pastor, will officiate, and burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Uphoff was born in the town of Herman Feb. 23, 1876, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Uphoff. He was married to Martha Spitzer on Nov. 3, 1906, and since then the couple has resided in Plymouth.
Survivors are a son, Roland, Plymouth; two grandchildren; two brothers, Herman, of Glenbeulah, and Theodore, of Sheboygan; and five sisters, Mrs. William Schram and Mrs. Fred Kimme, of Sheboygan, Mrs. Arthur Brehm and Miss Meta Uphoff, of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Ernest Raeder of Kiel. Mrs. Uphoff died July 22, 1937, and a brother, Emil, and a sister Julia also preceded Mr. Uphoff in death.
