He was born on June 29, 1879 in Town of Herman, the son of Mr, and Mrs. William Uphoff. He attended schools in the same township.
His marriage to Miss Alice Barber occurred on June 7, 1911 in Glenbeulah where the couple made their home since that time.
Survivors are the following, his wife; one brother, Theodore, of Sheboygan; five sisters, Mrs. Arthur Brehm and Miss Meta Uphoff of Milwaukee, Mrs. Alma Kinnse of Sheboygan, Mrs. William Schram of Howards Grove, and Mrs. Earnie Raeder, town of Rhine.
One brother and one sister preceded him in death.
Fuenral services are scheduled for 1:30 p. m., Friday, at the Wittkopp Funeral Home in Plymouth. The Rev. Frederick Krueger, pastor of Glenbeulah Methodist Church, will officiate and burial will take place Jn Greenbush Cemetery.
