DYERSVILLE, Iowa -- William Engelken, 77, of 403 Sixth Ave SE, died Saturday morning at the Shady Rest Nursing Home in Cascade, Iowa.
Services will be at 10:30 am Tuesday at the Basilica of St. Francis Xavier here, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 7 pm Sunday at the Kramer Funeral Home here, where the Scripture Wake Service will be held at 8 pm Monday.
Surviving are his wife, the former Monica Gaul; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Alma) Brehm of Durango, Iowa; five sons, Edwin of Earlville, Iowa, Julius of Manchester, Iowa, George of Atlanta, Ga., Elmer of Epworth, Iowa, and Cletus of Farley, Iowa; two brothers, Frank of Farley, and John of New Vienna, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Nadermann of Epworth and Mrs. Frank (Mary) Freking of New Vienna; and 34 grandchildren.
