Mrs. Barney Engelken

Dyersville, Ia., Dec. 8 -- Special: Death claimed Mrs. Barney Engelken at her home in Hickory Valley Wednesday morning, after a lingering illness.

The funeral will be held Saturday morning from the home to St. Francis Xavier church at Dyersville at 9:30 o'clock. Interment will be made at St. Francis cemetery.

Mrs. Engelken was born in New Vienna, Dec. 19, 71 years ago. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier church and the Rosary society of that parish and in her last hour was comforted by the rites of the Catholic religion.

She leaves her husband, Barney Engelken, and ten children, Herman Kramer, Dyersville; Mrs. Joe Sturn, Bankston; Mrs. Anton Osterhaus, Dyersville; Joe Kramer and Ben Engelken, Farley; Mrs. William Nadermann, Alta Vista; Frank Engelken, Farley; John Engelken, New Vienna; William Engelken, Dyersville; and Mrs. F. Freking, New Vienna.
