"CONSTANTINE KARST
Hoisington - Constantine Karst, 75, died Sunday, Dec. 2, at the Hoisington Lutheran Hospital after a sudden illness. He was a retired farmer. He was born Dec. 5, 1908, at Galatia to Jacob and Eva (Rein) Karst, and spent his life in the Galatia-Milberger communities. He was a member of the United Emanuel Lutheran Church, Milberger.
Mr. Karst married Elsie Eurich July 19, 1931, and she died Nov. 2, 1945. He married Leona Niedens Maier, April 8, 1947, at Milberger. She survives.
Other survivors are a son, Duane Karst, Denver, Colo,; and two daughters, Mrs. Ron (Darlene) Goscha, Carbondale, Colo., and Mrs. Dan (Deanna) Davis, Englewood, Colo.; three brothers, Hubert Karst, Galatia, and Robert and Ralph Karst, Hoisington; a sister, Mrs. Caroline Nuss, Hoisington; eight grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the United Emanuel Luthran Church, Milberger, Rev. Carl Dietz officiating. Burial will be in the Milberger Cemetery.
A prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Nicholson Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington.
Calling will be until 9 tonight, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, and 1 p.m. to service time at the church.
A memorial is to the United Emanuel Lutheran Church, Hoisington."
