Waldomar V. "Wally" Keil
Waldomar V. "Wally" Keil, 66, Russell, died Wednesday, Aug. 2, at Trinity Lutheran Hospital, Kansas City, Mo. He was born April 23, 1928, to Victor E. and Elizabeth (Pope) Keil, in Russell County.
Mr. Keil was a school teacher of elementary education and taught several years in Wichita and several years in Kansas City. He was not retired.
He lived at Milberger near Russell, Wichita and Kansas City, Mo. He attended Fort Hays State University, Hays; Wichita State, Wichita, and Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah.
Survivors are two brothers, Hubert H., Milberger, and Ernest W., Temple, Texas; and two sisters, Clara Galliart, Russell and Josephine Springer, Hoisington.
He was preceded in death by fourth brothers, Gerhard, Julius Herbert, Melvin and Clifford, and two sisters, Esther Keil and Florence Keil.
His funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 6, at Pohlman's Mortuary Chapel in Russell, Rev. John Martyn officiating.
Burial was in Milberger Cemetery, Milberger.
Pohlman's Mortuary, Russell was in charge of arrangements.
Memorial are to United Emanuel Lutheran Church, Milberger, in care of Pohlman's Mortuary, Russell.
