Victor E. Keil, the son of George and Katherine (Kuxhausen) Keil born on the homestead farm of parents, Russell County February 17,1886. Died March 6, 1964, at Russell Hospital, 78 years, 18 days old. Member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Milberger and church organist for many years. He married Elizabeth POPP on May 10, 1908, at Milberger. To this union were born 11 children, 2 preceded him.
Surviving: wife of the home; Mrs. Ernest (Clara) Galliart, Hoisington; Gerhardt, of Russell; Herbert, Casper, WY; Dr. Ernest of Temple, TX; Waldomar, Wichita, KS; Hubert and Clifford, of the home; Melvin of Hoisington; and Mrs. Irvin (Josephine) Springer, Hoisington; also 16 grandchildren; three gt. grandchildren; one brother, Fred Keil, of Greeley, CO; two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Tittel, Bazine, KS; and Mrs. Dave Steinert, Hoisington. Two daughters, Esther and Florence, preceded him in death.
Family service at Deines Brothers Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. and final rites from Imanuel Lutheran Church in Milberger, KS on Monday, March 9, 1964 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. A. C. Gottberg, Hoisington, KS. Burial in Milberger Cemetery.
