Ida Fredrica Klug was born 20 Jun 1876 in Sherman Twp, Huron Co, Michigan. She was the first of her siblings to be born in America. Her parents were born in Visselhövede, Hanover, Germany and they immigrated in 1874. She had 9 siblings, 8 born in Germany and a younger sister Sophia born in Sherman Twp, who died as a child.

She married Herbert Reynolds in 3 Aug 1897 in Sanilac, Michigan. By 1910 they relocated to Grant, Cheboygan, Michigan. They had 9 children: Sophia, Olive, Gladys, Bert,Orville, Hattie, Marion and Earl. Ida died 12 Jul 1920 from tuberculosis.
